As the peak body and service agency for arts and cultural development in regional New South Wales (NSW), Regional Arts NSW leads the conversation, encourages collaboration, provides support and celebrates the achievements of the arts and cultural sector in regional NSW.
We do this through advocacy as the leader and voice for the sector through responding to calls for submissions to government on all matters affecting the sector based on evidence collected through research and evaluation, building strong relationships with all levels of government, developing partnerships with allied organisations and peak bodies and implementing a strategic communications framework that supports advocacy.
Regional Arts NSW provides a range of sector support services to strengthen and support the capacity of the regional arts and cultural sector including promoting and delivering grants programs and group insurance policies. We undertake regular consultation and needs analysis to develop appropriate skills and training programs, provide bespoke member services and advice, foster innovation and cross sector collaboration, and support and strengthen Aboriginal arts and cultural development.
