Mary McGillivray is an art historian and visual essayist who has over 350,000 followers on her popular TikTok channel, @_theinconoclass.
Mary has been engaged by the Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery to develop 10 new video essays to explore a selection of works from this year’s finalists. Every Sunday of the STILL 2021 exhibition from Sunday 22 August, a new video will be released on her TikTok channel, and on our IGTV (Instagram TV) discussing all things life, death, floral, decaying and most importantly, answer the questions – can a video be a still life?
