North East Water has partnered with Murray Arts and Burraja Gallery to showcase the work of local artists over the next two weeks in the North East Water Aboriginal Acquisitional Art Prize and Exhibition at Burraja Gallery.
The art prize is designed to highlight and celebrate local artists and recognise First Nations peoples deep connection to local waterways and lands via a diverse array of mediums including acrylic on canvas, works on paper and wood carving.
An online virtual 3D tour of the exhibition will be available this eyar toencourage even further reach and maintain public safety during the pandemic. The winners will be announced in an online event during opening night on Monday 18 October from 6pm-7pm. Attendees much register beforehand.
