The 2021 Outbacks Archies Art Prize, delivered by Outback Arts, explores the theme ‘Legends and Landscapes’. In it’s 11th year, the Art Prize accepted entries from the Outback Arts region of Bourke, Brewarrina, Bogan, Cobar, Coonamble, Warren and Walgett Shires but also, Gilgandra, Narrabri, Moree, Gunnedah, Liverpool Plains, Gwydir, Tamworth, Broken Hill, Wentworth Shire, Central Darling Shire and the Western Unincorporated Area.
Categories for prizes include the major Outback Archies Prize, People’s Choice, Aboriginal Art Award plus first and second prizes for each category of Ceramics, Sculpture, Two Dimensional, and Photography. The Young Archies will also feature two categories – Primary School and High School.
The exhibition of entrants and winners will be on show from 1 November 2021 until 28 January 2022.
