Kamilaroi/Gamilaraay artist Dennis Golding spent two days in Wellington on workshops for the idHERO program. Dennis worked with an Elders group and two schools on making superhero capes. The capes help to highlight for participants the strength they draw for their community, culture and identity — symbolised through logos and symbols on their cape.

The capes, along with photography from Alex Wisser and Tara Stanley, will be exhibited at the Maliyan Cultural Centre in July. This project was funded by the NSW Government through Create NSW.
