Applications for the prestigious 2021 National Jazz Awards have been extended to August 31! Amendments to the Award Guidelines have also been made to better support applicants from regions currently affected by Covid restrictions.
This year’s instrument category for the award is piano, with 10 entrants to be selected to perform as part of the highly anticipated 2021 Wangaratta Festival of Jazz & Blues.
- First prize: $7,000 & 1 Recording Session at Melbourne’s famous Pughouse Studios
- Second prize: $4,000
- Third prize: $2,000
Entries are open to high level musicians aged 36 and under. Applications close as midnight on August 31, 2021.
