The Wyndham Art Prize 2022 is open for entries from February 1 as it enters its eighth year. The Art prize is renowned for its inclusivity and scale, attracting the best artists from across Australia and offering opportunities for local and emerging artists.
The 2021 Wyndham Art Prize attracted a record-breaking number of entries with 300 works submitted, of which 84 artists progressed as finalists. Mediums included sculpture, painting, drawing, printmaking, textiles, photography, installation, sound digital, video and more.
Cash prizes for 2022 include the Wyndham Art Prize of $15,000 (non-acquisitive) and the Local Emerging Art Prize of $5,000 (acquisitive). Finalists’ work will be on display at Wyndham Cultural Centre in June, July and August 2022.
Entries close 1 April, 2022.
