Arts Mid North Coast are working in partnership with the Creative Recovery Network to deliver a Creative Recovery Training Program this October, 2021. The training will be facilitated by Scotia Monkivitch from the Creative Recovery network and will be available to those who wish to work in communities that have been affected by disasters – in the immediate after-effect and then into the community’s recovery journey.
With a focus on practitioners working in the Arts, Community, Government, Emergency Services, health, Education and other sectors who are associated with community preparedness and recovery, the program is an introduction level engagement to establish an understanding of the disaster context and trauma informed best practice in working with communities impacted by disaster.
The program will consist of resources, conversations, reflections and learning about the development of creative recovery strategies. Experience working with diverse groups of people is required.
Workshops are limited to 20 people each.
New dates for our Creative Recovery Training Program which will now be held during the weeks of 28 February – 18 March 2022
