Applications are now open for two professional development opportunities coinciding with Australia’s participation at the 59th Venice Biennale. The Biennale Delegates Program and the Pavilion Invigilation Program.
The Biennale Delegates Program – Applications close 3pm, September 21.
The Biennale Delegates Program is a professional development opportunity for arts and cultural workers based in Australia in their early-career . The 2022 theme is re(situate), an offer to refocus and reposition as we step into this next era in international engagement within the visual arts. Participants will engage with program facilitators through online labs and an in-person residency in NSW.
Applications from the full spectrum of the visual arts industry are being welcomed. This includes but is not limited to cultural producers, artists, writers, technical producers, philanthropy coordinators, engagement and community development and curators.
Pavilion Invigilation Program – Applications close 9am, October 19.
The Australian Pavilion invigilation program is a professional development opportunity open to Australian arts and cultural workers based in Europe or the United Kingdom. The program provides development and employment opportunities for Australian’s based abroad during this challenging time.
Two types of placements will be offered; Attendant Manager and Pavilion Attendant.
