Western Riverina Arts are celebrating the release of issue one of Mona Magazine, a new community-based magazine for diverse regional, rural and remote women. The magazine is authored and produced by women living in these communities.

Reflecting the diversity of the Riverina, the magazine includes women from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, First Nations Women, women with disabilities, young women and women from a variety of socio-economic ranges. The focus on telling women’s stories is evident in their non-profit stance of not accepting advertising.

Mona Magazine is driven to connect women from across Australia so we can listen to each other and learn from one another. The Magazine is a platform to celebrate the diversity and richness of womanhood, their resilience and their wisdom.

A big congratulations to the team at Mona Magazine on their successful launch.
