- 1946 – Arts Council of NSW established
- 1976 – Arts Council of NSW incorporated as a company limited by guarantee
- 2000 – Arts Council of NSW began trading as Regional Arts NSW
- 2004 – Name was officially changed Regional Arts NSW Ltd
Regional Arts Development Organisations
- 1974 – Central West Community Arts Organisation established, 1987 incorporated, 1991 name was officially changed to Arts OutWest
- 1989 – South West Arts incorporated
- 1994 – Eastern Riverina Arts Program (ERAP) incorporated (2012 name was officially changed to Eastern Riverina Arts)
- 1996 – Arts Mid North Coast incorporated
- 1996 – Regional Arts Board Albury-Wodonga incorporated (2003 name was officially changed to Murray Arts)
- 1997 – Arts North West incorporated
- 1997 – The Southern Tablelands Regional Arts Advisory Council Inc (STARTS) incorporated (2017 name was changed to Southern Tablelands Arts)
- 1999 – Outback Arts incorporated
- 2002 – Arts Upper Hunter incorporated
- 2002 – South East Arts Region (SEAR) incorporated (2012 name was officially changed to South East Arts)
- 2003 – West Darling Arts incorporated
