Are you an artist local to the Eastern Riverina Arts Region? If so, you are invited to submit your EOI for Wagga Wagga Art Gallery’s upcoming Regional Artist Development (RAD) Residency Program (pilot). The program offers 2 places for up to 4 weeks residency in the E3 art space.

Focussing on the development and mentoring of regional artists by providing recipients with a spacious studio environment in which to pursue their arts practice, the RAD program aims to:

  • Support regional artist practice, development and exploration
  • Facilitate a mentored experience for artists with WWAG Collections and Curatorial Staff
  • Provide artists with critical attention to their work (as required and desired)
  • Provide (by arrangement) access to WWAG Collections
  • Assist regional artists to profile their practice
  • Expand community access and understanding of artist practice
  • Provide opportunities for artists to interact with the community (Open Studio by arrangement)
  • Facilitate equity of access
