Entries are now being accepted for the Olga Masters Short Story Award. Short stories within the word limit of 2000 to 4000 words, based on the theme of life in rural Australia are being welcomed from writers of all ages from across Australia.

The main prize judges for 2021 are Tasmanian lyrical and experimental fiction writer Ben Walter and playwright/novelist Julie Janson.

With the support of the Masters family, the Olga Masters Short Story Award is now administered by South East Arts in partnership with The South Coast Writers Centre and Island Magazine.

Applications close July 30th, 2021.
