No fluffy preamble this month – CASP is HERE! South East Arts is offering individual artists, arts groups, LGAs and organisations access to the Country Arts Support Program to support creative/professional development and small projects within the South East Arts service region. This area includes the following local government areas:

  • Bega Valley
  • Eurobodalla
  • Snowy Monaro

It is envisaged that the CASP will be able to be accessed by a diverse range of artists, not-for-profit organisations and arts groups/collectives.  Local Government can also apply where Council offers a co-contribution of 50% or greater.

There are two categories:

  1. Creative/Professional Development – Grants of up to $1000 will support activities or other costs associated with an individual artist’s practice.
  2. Small Projects – Grants of up to $3,000 are available to support activities or projects that engage and benefit a section of the community in the South East Arts Region.

The scope of how the CASP can be used is broad and allows for activities such as projects that deliver community benefit, initiatives that may be important to an individual artist to support the growth of their arts practice, small capital grants for local galleries, museums and community organisations to improve their facilities as well as delivering workshops, professional development and arts and cultural events.

Applications open 2 May and close 27 May 2022 for proposals that are delivered between 1 July and 31 December 2022.
