The Bellingen Youth Orchestra (BYO) 2024 Camp provided an immersive long-weekend, regional fine-music experience, nurturing the talents of up to 80 young players with 29 accomplished musical leaders, including a visiting conductor. In a 3-day camp during April 2024, attendees engaged in ensemble and orchestral activities to enhance their performance skills, teamwork, and leadership abilities. Through intensive sessions with tutors and mentors, participants improved their musical proficiencies and artistic appreciation. The annual camp served as an integral part of BYO’s mission to extend musical opportunities, offering access to high-quality orchestral tuition within and beyond the Bellingen community.
