Outback Arts | Women Outfront

In 2018 Outback Arts partnered with Signal Creative and commenced a three-year project with the young women in Warren and Walgett as part of Outback Arts’ Aboriginal Arts Program. Read more

Orana Arts | CETA

CETA is a digital arts engagement program of experimental labs with Aboriginal communities across the Orana Region. This project is inspired by contemporary arts practice, developed for cultural sustainability and driven by Aboriginal people. Read more

Orana Arts | Staging Stories (2015-18)

In 2015 Orana Arts commenced the Staging Stories project. Funded through an initiative by Create NSW, Staging Stories aimed to develop and provide support for Aboriginal playwrights and performers across the whole of regional NSW. Read more

South East Arts | Grow the Music

South East Arts brought Grow the Music back to South East NSW, courtesy of Create NSW. Throughout October, the Grow the Music crew undertook intensive music and recording workshops in the Aboriginal communities of Wallaga Lake and Eden, NSW. Read more

South East Arts | Giiyong Festival

In September 2018 South East Arts will present Giiyong Festival at Jigamy, just north of Eden. It will be the region’s first multi-art form festival celebrating traditional and contemporary Aboriginal culture through dance, art, music, film, theatre, food, sport, workshops and cultural tours. Arts Northern Rivers | Art on Bundjalung Country (2017)

Increasingly, creativity is being seen as a major indicator in increasing people’s health and wellbeing. Art on Bundjalung Country was a major partnership between the Lismore Regional Gallery, Arts Northern Rivers, North Coast Primary Health Network, Bulgarr Ngaru Aboriginal Medical Corporation and University Centre for Rural Health to stimulate artistic practice for emerging Aboriginal artists to enhance their social, economic and health outcomes. In partnership with Burraja Indigenous Cultural Centre, Murray Arts manages Burraja Gallery, an Aboriginal artists enterprise and shop for the sale of local Aboriginal artworks. Read more
