Nominations Open for 2018 NSW Green Globe Awards

Sustainability leaders and innovators can now be nominated for the 19th annual Green Globe Awards, Environment Minister Gabrielle Upton announced today. Ms Upton said the environmental awards honour people and projects across all sectors in NSW, with past winners setting the standard for a sustainable and clean NSW. Read more

Screenworks | Regional Stories to Screen Across Global Skies

Artists and filmmakers across regional NSW will soon have their stories seen on screens in the sky after Screenworks today announced that the second series of the CREATEABILITY short film collection has been licensed by Virgin Australia for all domestic and international flights. Virgin Australia had also licensed the first series back in December. Read more

Entries Now Open for Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award

Entries are now open for the Grafton Regional Gallery’s flagship art prize, the Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award (JADA). All artists living in Australia are eligible to enter the JADA, which accepts both traditional and contemporary interpretations of drawing. Read more

Four Winds | Four Winds Youth Partnership Creates New Hub

Four Winds and Sydney Youth Orchestras (SYO) have launched the SYO State South Coast Hub for young musicians in South East NSW. This new partnership is an exciting new hub for orchestral music on the Far South Coast of NSW. It is based in Bermagui and will see SYO visiting the region at least twice per year and working with young musicians from this area. Read more
