Expressions of Interest Open for the 2019 River of Art Festival

Eurobodalla's River of Art Festival is calling out to local and visiting visual artists, performers and community groups across all art forms to submit expressions of interest for the 2019 program. The 2019 River of Art Festival will run from 17 to 27 May 2019, showcasing the visual arts, craft, performance and musical creativity from South Durras to Bermagui. Read more

WIFT NSW | Making It Possible Pilot Program

WIFT NSW presents Raising Films Australia’s latest initiative, the Making It Possible Pilot Program. The pilot program is a free one day course with follow-up mentorship, to be held in city and regional locations across New South Wales, in Sydney, Penrith, Byron Bay, Dubbo and Bega. Read more

Building Creative Partnerships: Connecting Coffs Coast Artists with Business Sponsors

Coffs Harbour businesses are being asked to get behind local artists in a new exhibition, New Year New Work, scheduled to launch 1st February at the Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery. Presented by the Friends of Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery, the aim is to promote both local artists and businesses, while fundraising for the regional gallery’s collection and showcasing the region’s vibrant arts community. Southern Tablelands Arts Unveils Great Southern Line ANZAC Sculpture

On Thursday November 22, Goulburn Railway Station was the site of the launch of an Anzac Centenary commemorative sculpture, as part of the three-year project, the Great Southern Line ANZAC Story, by Southern Tablelands Arts. The Goulburn Railway Station sculpture is the second of three public artworks by artist Tracy Luff, with one previously unveiled at Moss Vale Railway Station and the final commemorative work to be unveiled in Picton this December. Arts Access Australia | Regional Grant Recipient Talks About Meeting Place 2018

This September two Northern Rivers arts workers Jeremy Hawkes and Suzanne Whiteman received travel grants from Arts Access Australia to attend Meeting Place 2018 in Alice Springs from 24 to 26 September. Meeting Place is Australia’s leading forum on arts, culture and disability, with a three-day program presenting a dynamic fusion of national and international speakers, exhibitions and performances, artists-in-residence and practical workshops.
