Regional Arts NSW is pleased to announce seven new projects funded in the January to March 2012 quarter of the Quick Response grant program. The Quick Response Grants once again assisted regional artists and cultural workers to develop invaluable skills for their work in regional communities through engagement in various professional development opportunities. Artforms represented this quarter included dance, craft, music, performance and visual arts. Funds assisted artists across the state from Bega in the south to Byron Bay in the north. The Quick Response Grants program provides assistance for regional NSW artists, arts organisations and communities to take advantage of professional and project development opportunities that present themselves at short notice. The funds are provided through the Australian Government’s Regional Arts Fund which is administered by Regional Arts NSW in New South Wales. Read the full list of recipients here. Read more
