The Lloyd Rees Memorial Youth Art Award

The Awards encourage young artists to learn and excel in their art practice by providing funds to assist them start their journey. The Awards are held every two years and the main award is an Aquisitive Prize of $5,000, which becomes part of the Lane Cove Council Collection and a solo exhibition the following year in Gallery Lane Cove. The Awards were named in honour of Dr. Lloyd Rees one of Australias’ most treasured artists of the 20th century.
