The Regional Arts Fund is an Australian Government initiative
supporting the arts in regional and remote Australia.

Made available under the Regional Arts Fund allocation for NSW, Quick Response Grants ('Quicks') offer 'urgent' funding of up to $1,500 for local arts and cultural projects in regional and rural NSW. Preference is given to projects from smaller and remote communities. Other priorities for funding include:

Professional development opportunities - to assist individuals or groups involved in delivering community programs or projects to increase their knowledge, skills and experiences, where the benefits are ultimately returned to the community and
Project development opportunities - where the local or regional community requires the services of specialist arts and cultural workers to develop and extend project or program concepts (this can include cultural mapping and cultural planning activities).

'Quicks' are offered on a quarterly basis. There is no deadline for applications, which may be made as required, although applications are processed on a 'first come, first served' basis. Decisions will be advised within 5 working days of receipt.

Download both the Guidelines and Application Form (below) in either PDF or Word. Read the guidelines carefully to ascertain both the eligibility of either you or your organisation and your proposed activity for funding under this program.

IMPORTANT: Applicants MUST contact the Funding Manager prior to submitting their application to discuss their proposal and check there are funds available.
