2020 NAIDOC Week Funding

The National NAIDOC Committee has decided to postpone NAIDOC Week 2020 (5 July – 12 July) in the interest of safety for our communities. This decision was not taken lightly.

We have suspended the nomination process for the National NAIDOC Awards 2020 and announcement of the winner of the poster competition until further notice. The 2020 NAIDOC Local Grants Round has also been closed until further notice.

NAIDOC Week grants support communities to celebrate the histories, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples during NAIDOC Week.

Funding is available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations to help meet the costs of local NAIDOC activities such as flag raising ceremonies, family days, art exhibitions and other cultural activities.

The NAIDOC Local Grants Guidelines and application package is available on Grants Connect.
