Mandorla Art Award
The Mandorla Committee are pleased to announce that entries for the 2018 Mandorla Art Award are now open!
Artists are invited to submit an entry to the 2018 Mandorla Art Award to be considered for $37,000 in prizemoney including the $25,000 acquisitive award.
The Mandorla Art Award for contemporary religious art is Australia’s most significant thematic Christian art prize and now ranks amongst major Australian art awards, in both artistic excellence and prize value.
Entry is open to artists from all over Australia working in a range of mediums. The winning artwork will become part of the Mandorla art collection joining the likes of previous winners Julie Dowling, John Coburn, Nigel Hewitt and Paul Kaptein.
The People’s choice award ($2,000) is sponsored by the Benedictine Community of New Norcia where the collection is housed.
A further two highly commended awards of $5,000 will also be awarded.
