Community Presenter Touring Grant - Round One
The purpose of the Community Presenter Touring Grant is to extend the reach of professional productions to smaller towns and remote communities in NSW that do not have a professional performing arts venue, by providing funds towards the performance fee of touring productions.
The Grant supports the presentation of professional, NSW-based productions to non-professional venues in regional NSW. Funds for this Grant have been made available by Arts NSW on behalf of the NSW Government. This is a three-year initiative.
Applicants can submit a proposal for funding to:
- extend a regional tour to one or more non-professional venues in regional NSW;
- support a new tour to two or more non-professional venues in regional NSW.
Grant funds can be used to support up to 50% of the performance/delivery fee of a touring production. Applicants can apply for:
- between $500 and $4,000 per venue;
- up to $12,000 for a consortium of three or more venues.
The first round opens on Monday 12 March, 2018. The first round closes at 5pm Monday 9 April, 2018 for projects between 1 June 2018 and 31 December 2019.
