ABC Regional Storyteller Scholarship
ABC Regional is seeking to champion emerging voices in the disability community in rural and regional Australia. ABC Regional looks after the 44+ ABC offices outside of the capital cities, and content making team specialises in radio, news, rural, live, digital and video production in the non-fiction and entertainment areas from live and breaking news events and TV documentaries to opinion editorial articles.
This is an early career opportunity for two people with a lived experience of disability and an interest in telling factual stories that connect with Australians.

You will be supported with a bespoke mentoring experience, based on location, needs and goals.
You are an emerging factual content maker and you live in a regional, rural or remote part of Australia, covered by the ABC’s regional broadcast footprint – anywhere outside of the capital cities.
You have a lived experience of disability and have a content project or idea that you would like to work on with the ABC.
