Incubator Event Fund - Round Two

The Incubator Event Fund offers seed funding to events in Regional NSW to support their first and second years of activity. The fund supports innovative events that demonstrate sound organisational planning, have a unique alignment with the character and culture of the local region and which can demonstrate a broad appeal likely to promote tourism and attract overnight visitation.

Flagship Event Fund

Destination NSW

The Flagship Event Fund supports the marketing of emerging events in regional NSW to increase their profile and encourage visitation.  The Fund offers grants specifically to support marketing activities aimed at increasing visibility and attracting visitation to the event from outside an event’s local area.
The Flagship Event Fund offers two grants:

– Annual grants of $20,000 (excl. GST); or

– Triennial grants of $27,500 (excl. GST) plus $2,500 (excl. GST) in value-in-kind research services per year, guaranteed for three years

To be eligible to apply, an event must have been running for more than two years, be held between 1 May and 31 December 2020, and meet the fund criteria outlined in the terms and conditions. Read more

Micro Event Fund

Destination NSW

The Micro Event Fund is a new initiative developed in response to NSW’s bushfire and drought crisis to support smaller, community-based events in Regional NSW areas impacted by bushfire activity or drought conditions.
The Micro Event Fund offers one-off grants of $10,000 (excl. GST) to support the delivery of events that demonstrate an ability to engage and harmonise their local community, build destination appeal, attract visitors from outside the region and stimulate the local economy.
To be eligible to apply, events must be held between 1 May and 31 December 2020, have a total expenditure budget of approximately $75,000 (excl. GST) or less and meet the fund criteria outlined in the terms and conditions.

Applications open on Friday 21 February 2020 and must be received by Destination NSW no later than midnight (Sydney time) on Wednesday 25 March 2020. Read more
