The Big Skies Collaboration | Skywriters Anthology 2019

The Big Skies Collaboration are now accepting submissions to the Skywriters Anthology, a royalty title in print and eBook formats (pdf, ePub and Kindle versions). It will be distributed under a global license held by the publisher, Interactive Publications Pty Ltd (IP). Creative writers and aspiring writers are invited to submit skystories about their own or other people’s (or other beings?) relationships with celestial phenomena, as experienced from within the fuzzy borders of the region defined as the 700 Kilometre Array (700KA) of inland New South Wales. Narrandera Arts and Community Centre | Fragments

Join West Riverina Arts on Thursday 19th July from 6:30pm at the Narrandera Arts and Community Centre for the official opening of Fragments, curated by Hape Kiddle. Fragments is the next installment of the 'Activating Narrandera Arts' program initiated by Western Riverina Arts, funded through a Regional Arts Fund grant from the Federal Government, to utilise the Narrandera Arts Centre as a creative space. Fling Physical Theatre | Body & Environment

On Thursday 21 June the 2018 fLiNG Company will premiere their new major work Body and Environment. This full-length work has been created by fLiNG Co Artistic Director Rob McCredie in collaboration with Gabrielle Rose, Gabriela Green Olea, David Hewitt, Holly Durant, Tim Newth, Gerry Corcoran, Anne Corcoran and the 2018 fLiNG Company – 11 young performers ranging in ages from 14-18yrs. Wagga Wagga Art Gallery | Sound on Paper

Sound on Paper presents two projects exploring the apparent dichotomy between visual and audible perception. During a two-week residency at the Cad Factory in November 2016, Italy based visual artist Barbara Bartos and Narrandera poet Julie Thompson-Briggs have collaborated on an audio-visual interactive project inspired by the Scribbly Gum Moth. RAF Project | REC Ya Shorts 2018 Escapes to New Regions

Now in its fourth year, the REC Ya Shorts Youth Film Festival is rolling out around Regional Australia for 2018, on the search for the next wave of young Australian filmmakers. This year’s program will also see over 70 in-school filmmaking and mental health workshops come to schools throughout Regional NSW for students interested in learning what it’s all about behind the camera lens.
