Australia Council | EOI for Signature Works - Innovation Lab 2017

The Australia Council are inviting expressions of interest to participate in an immersive four day residential Innovation Lab in May 2017. The Lab will offer an entirely Indigenous creative space with hope to strengthen future Indigenous signature works and embolden artists with strong ideas and innovative work. Read more

Tweed Regional Art Gallery |RAF Project: 'If These Halls Could Talk' Public Programs

A new exhibition at Tweed Regional Gallery delves deeper into a celebration of town halls in the Northern Rivers and the stories they inspire. The exhibition, Tumbulgum and the Countdown to Midnight at the First Supper Between Now and Forever, is on display at the Gallery from 17 February and draws from the research for a multi-arts project entitled If These Halls Could Talk. Recent school leavers, unemployed people with hospitality qualifications, existing hospitality workers, and Visitor Information Centre volunteers or people whose current business links to the tourism industry are encouraged to attend a two hour introduction to a ‘Growing Local Tourism Talent’ information session at Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre on Tuesday 28 February, 2017 at 11am. Wagga Wagga Art Gallery is delighted to present one of Australia’s most accomplished male ballet dancers, Damian Smith, for a special one-off performance on Sunday 26 February.
