Opera New England | La Boheme

Opera New England is pleased to announce its second production in 2014, Puccini's La Boheme. Directed by George Torbay with musical direction by Bruce Menzies, this production will be sung in English and again feature young conservatorium trained students in key roles. Read more

Robert Merritt was brought up on the Erambie Aboriginal Mission in Cowra. Merritt wrote The Cake Man, a play set in the story of his childhood, whilst in isolation in Bathurst and it was first performed in 1975 at the newly-formed Black Theatre in Redfern. Read more

Grong Grong Creative House

Last Sunday, 4th August 2013, the local and visiting artists participating in The Cad Factory-conceived project Grong Grong Motel, moved into their own motel room to create the performance/installation in the room and its surrounds. Read more

Broken Hill Celebrates NAIDOC

Sturt Park in Broken Hill City Council attracted over 1000 people to a NAIDOC Week Family Day. Celebrations in the region this week will include hip hop training events,  cultural exchange concert, bush day and Wilcannia's NAIDOC Ball. Read more

NAIDOC Flash Mob

  There will be dancing in the streets of Kempsey this NAIDOC Week, as twenty young Aboriginal dancers from the Mid North Coast perform in flash mobs as part of the Saltwater Freshwater Festival 2013 NAIDOC program. Read more

The Song Company in Dubbo
