CASP Applications Close 1 October

Applications for projects to be funded under the Country Art Support Program close on 1 October. The grants for a maximum amount ranging from $3,000 to $5000 (varying by Regional Arts Board) are available to groups and organisations based in regional NSW for projects occurring between 1 January 2016 and 31 December 2016. Australia's Newest Picture-book Publishers

Australia's newest children's picture book publishing house, Christmas Press, is launching this month in New England. It is the brainchild of three local creators: writer Sophie Masson illustrator David Allan author, artist and designer Fiona McDonald Christmas Press has just released its first title, Two Trickster Tales from Russia which will be launched by acclaimed visiting children's author James Roy.
