Shoalhaven City Arts Centre | Jerrinja Exposed

Ten young people aged 10 - 28 connected to Jerrinja Aboriginal country and culture on the South Coast of NSW recently embarked on a creative journey. The group learnt technical photography and design skills to engage and connect with traditional Jerrinja Aboriginal language, country and culture. This exhibition displays the best 30 photographic works and the journey of the inspiring young artists after months of workshops at Culburra Beach. Read more

Lieder Theatre | Gurangatch and Mirrigan Get-Together

Gurangatch and Mirrigan is an important local Aboriginal story, often told by Alfie Walker. Working with the local Aboriginal community, the Lieder Theatre Company is developing a theatrical interpretation of the story for performances in schools and at the Lieder in November 2017. Read more
