Booranga Writers’ Centre | July Writer-in-Residence: Ellen van Neerven

This July Booranga Writers' Centre will be welcoming award-winning author Ellen van Neerven to Wagga Wagga. Ellen will be in residence from 9 until 14 July and will deliver the ASAL Patrons Lecture at the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery on Friday 13 July as well as conduct a writing workshop on Saturday 14 July at Booranga. South East NSW Hosts Australia's Newest Aboriginal Festival

In less than three months, on 22 September, South East NSW will host the newest Aboriginal festival in the nation – the inaugural Giiyong Festival, taking place at Jigamy, just north of Eden. Twofold Aboriginal Corporation, Eden Local Aboriginal Land Council and South East Arts are working together to present this one day multi-arts festival. Read more
