Arts NSW Regional Arts Fellowships closing soon

Artists and arts/cultural workers have until 5pm, Monday, 24 August to apply for two Arts NSW Regional Arts Fellowships. The fellowships worth $50,000 each are open to artists and performers or arts/cultural workers from all art forms, including dance, design, digital arts, history, Aboriginal arts and culture, literature, music, theatre, screen and the visual arts from regional areas. Window on the Wetlands Centre opens for June Long Weekend

A series of poles to be painted by artists including members of the Ngemba Wailwan art group will form part of the Indigenous cultural heritage interpretive displays at the new Window on the Wetlands (WOW) Centre in Warren to be opened at 5pm tomorrow, World Environment Day. Read more

Preserving Cultural Crafts

Renowned Aboriginal weaver, Dolly Jerome, will pass on her knowledge of weaving in a series of cross generational weaving workshops to be held next week at Trewlawney Station, Gomeroi Gaaynggal Centre and Hillvue Public school. Read more

Bidjee Dreaming | Bundian Way Gallery

'Everything we paint comes off country.' Bidjee Dreaming opened in Delegate last month. This new exhibition will run for the next three months, showing a variety of works from Aboriginal artists residing in the high country of the South East region. Read more
