Millinery workshops in South West Arts

Back by popular demand, tutor Waltraud Reiner who has an international reputation as both a designer and tutor, will be returning to the south west region to host three millinery workshops in Booroorban, Deniliquin and Coleambally. Read more

Critical Stages tour The Jinglists through regional NSW

This September Critical Stages is touring their latest production, The Jinglists, around regional NSW. Meet Leigh and Loman, two men that live in their own world so dedicated to writing jingles they haven’t left their apartment in thirty years – until one day their lives are thrown into turmoil when they glimpse the girl of their dreams through the mail-hole of their apartment door. Arts OutWest’s new youth arts website

This August Arts OutWest launches their new youth arts focused website The YAOW! Project (Young Arts OutWest) has been developed over the past 18 months as a platform to showcase arts and media work by young people in the Central West. Read more

Bundjalung Dreaming Digby Moran solo exhibition

This August, Ballina-born internationally lauded artist Digby Moran presents his solo exhibition at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery. A proud Bundjalung man, the exhibition is described by Lois Randall, creative industry consultant and former CEO of Arts Northern Rivers, as “a contemporary response to traditional Bundjalung culture” and “his most important works to date”. The Bald Archy in Brewarrina

The Bald Archy Prize is currently touring NSW and is being exhibited in Brewarrina at the Visitor Information & Cultural Centre this July.
