Arts OutWest’s second major regional showcase of Aboriginal arts and culture, Marramarra Bulla, will be held in Parkes on November 17. Marramarra is a Wiradjuri word meaning ‘make, create, do’ and Bulla is a word meaning ‘two’. Read more

Bangarra's of earth & sky tours regionally

Bangarra Dance Theatre artistic director Stephen Page has commissioned of earth & sky to tour a string of regional theatres, kicking off from October 31 at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre before visiting Geraldton, Bunbury, Albany, Bathurst, Orange, Albury, Wagga Wagga, Dubbo and finally Port Macquarie. Sydney Theatre Company debuts In a Heart Beat

Sydney Theatre Company will be debuting In a Heart Beat at the Hoskins Centre in Armidale during the second week of October. Created by Jo Turner and Susanna Dowling as part of STC’s Theatre in Communities program, the play is a coming of age story made in Armidale for the New England Community. Read more

Critical Stages tour The Jinglists through regional NSW

This September Critical Stages is touring their latest production, The Jinglists, around regional NSW. Meet Leigh and Loman, two men that live in their own world so dedicated to writing jingles they haven’t left their apartment in thirty years – until one day their lives are thrown into turmoil when they glimpse the girl of their dreams through the mail-hole of their apartment door.
