Back to Hartley

Back to Hartley is a community event to promote their heritage and raise funds for local charities. Entry is payable per car, with all monies raised going to charity.

Back to Hartley is a day of fun and entertainment with something for every age member of the family to enjoy. Bring the whole family and all your friends too.

Walk around the Hartley Historic Site and experience the beauty of the historic village – explore the Talisman Gallery, the fantastic work of local indigenous artists in the Kew-Y-Ahn Gallery, view the village from the highest point on the site at the Granite Tors, look inside the convict cells and courthouse.

The event showcases a variety of arts, crafts, produce from the region, vintage cars and vintage motor bikes, a selection of food and drinks are available to purchase, face painting, petting zoo, Lithgow Folk Club playing live music, Sally Anne’s Dancers, self guided tours of the Courthouse, trike and pony rides, Lithgow Living History – get lashed by a convict and much more.
