Thirsty Crow Brewery | Halfway Print Fest

The Halfway Print Fest, an art festival celebrating printed materials (including zines, handmade magazines and books), will return for a second year on 9 March at Wagga Wagga’s Thirsty Crow Brewery.

Supported by Regional Arts NSW through the Federal Government’s Regional Arts Fund, and Wagga City Council, the festival celebrates all things printed and independently made by regional and interstate artists. With a particular focus on printed material, the Fest will showcase zines, artist books, screen-printed apparel and other items that have emerged from the minds and hands of passionate makers.

Alongside shopping for one-of-a-kind goodies from a strong line-up of talented artists, visitors and the Wagga community can also enjoy specially brewed beer created for the Fest (a collaboration between the Thirsty Crow Brewery and Print Fest organisers, Kate Allman and Adele Packer), as well as a fun and exciting program of events.

Program highlights include: local artists delivering seminars on their crafts, visiting artists from Melbourne’s zine/DIY hub Sticky Institute, and the return of last year’s hit DIY Lab, where aspiring zine makers can try their hand at making their own.

The Halfway Print Fest is free, family friendly and open to the public.
