South West Music hosts online concert

The South West Music Regional Conservatorium will host its first-ever online concert on Friday 3 July.

The concert will feature QLD Conservatorium classical pianist, Matthew Garvie.

Currently, in his fourth year of a Bachelor of Music degree at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, and under the guidance of eminent Australian pianist Daniel de Borah, Matthew is a highly active chamber musician, performing duo works with wind, string and vocal students, as well as in piano trios and larger ensembles.

Originally hailing from nearby Wagga Wagga, Matthew began learning the piano from his grandmother at the age of seven before continuing studies at the Riverina Conservatorium of Music under Hamish Tait.
