Seniors Film Festival - Young At Heart

Feel Young At Heart at Pretty Old

In celebration of Seniors Week (17 – 24 March) South West Arts will be touring the Young at Heart Seniors Film Festival. This annual flagship event of NSW Seniors Week is a week-long showcase for film premieres, film classics and social events for seniors, their friends and relatives.

The festival features documentary Pretty Old that follows four women aged between 72 to 94, who are competing in the 30th year Anniversary of the Ms. Senior Sweetheart Beauty Pageant, a one-of-a-kind, 11 day competition that takes place in Fall River, Massachusetts. Following the contestants through hilarity and heartbreak, Pretty Old looks at what it really means to age beautifully.
