Second Beach, Narrandera | Specimen by the Cad Factory

Join experimental art organisation The Cad Factory on Saturday 23 March as they present Specimen, an evening of large-scale video projections onto the trees and water of the Murrumbidgee River.

When the sun goes down, small audiences can gather on Narrandera’s Second Beach for intimate, informal conversations to explore their emotional and practical connections to ideas of colonisation, species loss and place.

For Specimen, The Cad Factory worked with jarred specimens from the National Museum of Australia’s Institute of Anatomy Collection. As these objects are brought back to life in a natural environment, curator Kirsten Wehner will lead conversations around ecology, species loss, place and colonisation.
