RANSW's CEO Attends Price's Cafe Opening
Exhibition celebrates a cafe in Moruya that trailblazed reconciliation in 1950's
Regional Arts NSW’s CEO, Elizabeth Rogers, attended the opening of Price’s Cafe at the Mechanics Institute in Moruya, last month.
Inspired by local stories from the cafe which was a pivotal part of the Aboriginal experience in the South East region, the exhibition was presented by South East Arts, which is chaired by former Sydney Festival director Lindy Hume.
South East Arts is keen to take the Price’s Café show on the road. To support the project, tax deductable donations can be made through the Australia Cultural Fund. Visit www.southeastarts.org.au or contact Andrew Gray on 0429 909 447.
