Drawing inspiration from the Australian bush, British born artist and designer Julie Paterson’s stunning fabrics are a riot of colour, floral forms and patterns.
She is one of Australia’s leading textile designers, who has achieved commercial success as the founder and creative director of Cloth Fabric, working from her studio in Blackheath NSW. The exhibition features original artworks, sketches and drawings, fabrics and furnishings, taking you through the different stages of designing textiles.
Cloth: From Seeds to Bloom is an Australian Design Centre Touring Exhibition – developed and first presented by Sturt Gallery, Mittagong as Cloth Fabric: 20 Years in the Making.
