"Inside Cinema vs Parallel Universe" Exhibition
A new exhibition called Inside Cinema vs Parallel Universe is currently
open at Griffith Regional Art Gallery until 18 October 2020. Visitors will
become immersed in the fantastical world of movie characters,
superheroes, timescapes and the Solar System.
Inside Cinema vs Parallel Universe is a group exhibition that brings together
emerging and established learning-disabled artists from Wagga Wagga,
Narrandera, Barellan, Yenda and Griffith.
During August and September, the artists came together at Griffith Regional Art
Gallery to work in a pop-up supported studio. A supported studio is a place
where learning-disabled artists can be ambitious, autonomous, collaborate and
be supported to develop skills and make excellent art.
The artists worked with curator Sarah McEwan, from the Cad Factory, to dream
up the installation.
