Grigoryan Brothers Captivate Deniliquin
Guitar Duet Plays in Deniliquin Concert Series & Roman Rudnytsky Selling Out the Riverina
South West Music, in partnership with South West Arts, received Arts NSW funding through the Regional Conservatorium Association to hold a series of concerts in Deniliquin in 2013.
The first performance toured was The Grigoryan Brothers, who mesmerised their audience at the Multi Arts Centre in Deniliquin last Friday. The concert drew a captivated audience of more than 90 people of all ages.
Slava and Leonard Grigoryan, have astounded audiences worldwide with their guitar virtuosity and played from their latest album which was nominated for an ARIA. Tchaikovsky’s 12-movement piano work The Seasons was masterfully arranged for the guitars by their father Edward, a musician himself, for their latest album.
‘The audience was enthralled by the dynamic duo and it was overall just a perfect warm autumn evening to enjoy stunning live music and great company’ commented Regional Arts Development Officer for South West Arts, Alyce Fisher.
The next performance for the Deniliquin Concert Series is pianist Roman Rudnytsky, who will be playing on Friday 21st June, but due to overwhelming popularity it has already sold out.
A second concert will be held at Laverstock on 20th June 2013.
Pre-purchased tickets are $25 for adults and students are just a gold coin donation. There are a limited number of tickets available so purchase your tickets now to secure your seat.
