An established and nationally recognised printmaker, she is discussing her eleventh solo exhibition Pollinate as well as sharing some of her techniques and processes in making prints. Jenny is bringing some examples of her processes, to share with you techniques on successful printmaking processes.
Throughout her life Jenny Kitchener has been surrounded and influenced by the rhythms of the Australian bush, it underlies all her work. Of particular note for the Clarence Valley Community, is Jenny’s research with those special works by the O’Grady sisters which are part of the Grafton Regional Gallery Collection. Pollinate is a homage to the two artists.
Jenny Kitchener’s work is a pleasure to experience, with its strong graphic qualities and yet intricate detail. She will be more than happy to answer any questions about her printmaking.
