Ensemble Offspring - The Surge Tour
Ensemble Offspring are revisiting classics from the ’90s alongside five new commissions as part of their tour, The Surge! The tour reflects on the cultural, climate and political situations Australia finds itself in today reigniting two iconic Australian works by Sculthorpe and Westlake alongside premieres from Wilcox, Wells and Davidson.
Joined by guitarists Andrew Blanch and Vladimir Gorbach, and Queensland band Topology in Brisbane, Ensemble Offspring is touring six regional NSW and urban locations to reignite two classics from the ’90s. Intended to be a feast of music, ideas, lessons from the past and hope for the future, The Surge will also feature video by Peachey and Mosig.
