Eastern Riverina Arts | SHIFT

SHIFT is a one day event exploring the role that creative practice and industry plays in transition and transformation – be it the transformation of spaces, the transition to creative economies, or the power of art to transform lives and communities.
 
SHIFT is a series of presentations and round table discussions with some of the country’s most interesting cultural leaders.
 
SHIFT is an opportunity to meet with 100 other people from your region to discuss ideas, projects, collaborations and issues.
 

Keynote Speaker: Lindy Hume

Lindy Hume is an award-winning director whose accomplishments include terms as Festival Director of Sydney Festival (2010-2012) and Artistic Director of Perth International Arts Festival (2004-2007). Lindy has been artistic director of several of Australasia’s major performing arts institutions including West Australian Opera, Victoria State Opera, OzOpera. She is also the author of RESTLESS GIANT: Changing Cultural Values in Regional Australia (2017).
