Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre | Adverse Camber
Bathurst Memorial Centre is hosting performances and storytelling workshops with the acclaimed Adverse Camber (UK), who are touring regional NSW in May.
Adverse Camber are an acclaimed Welsh storytelling company who view storytelling as a performance-based art. Their works explore cultural and linguistic identity, showcasing the universality of the human imagination as well as the distinctive landscapes and qualities of particular cultures. They offer rich potential for cultural exchange.
After stops in Condobolin, Orange, Lithgow and Kandos, Adverse Camber will bring their show, Dreaming the Night Field: A Legend of Wales to Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre on Wednesday 15 May from 7.30pm, and Saturday 18 May from 8pm.
Thrilling, funny, powerful and poetic, experience a world that’s bristling with life and filled with animals, people and constellations, caught in stories of creation and destruction.

The performances will also be accompanied by a Storytelling Workshop on Saturday 4 May, from 9.30am – 11.30am. The workshop will focus on storytelling as a performance-based art, where participants can share and exchange their own knowledge while learning from three experts.
