ArtScreen 2021 Launch + ArtScreen 2020 Premie
The world premiere of a new video artwork from NSW artist Debra Keenahan is set to feature during the online launch of ArtScreen 2021 on Wed 2 Dec at 10:30am, the day before this year’s International Day Of People With Disability.
ArtScreen is a video art initiative for artists with disability developed by Accessible Arts with the support of various government, industry and community partners.
Titled Little Things Matter, Debra’s artwork is a provocative social critique of the dehumanisation of people with dwarfism and was created through this year’s edition of ArtScreen with funding from the City of Sydney.
In addition to showcasing Debra’s artwork, the online launch will include an overview of next year’s initiative, reveal the ArtScreen 2021 mentors and provide details of how to access production funding. Next year’s ArtScreen projects are set to have a world premiere season at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney.
