Arts North West | The Art of Project and Event Planning

Want to discover the ins and outs of arts project planning? Got a project idea? Bring it with you and we will help you flesh it out. This is a hands-on workshop which covers the development of your project from its concept, to budgets and timelines.

Arts North West Creative Roadshow presents a full day program on arts project development, planning and delivery for artists, arts organisations and community groups. This is a great opportunity to connect and network with artists and art organisations in the North West region.

  • The Project Brief: 9.30am – 12.00pm
This first session is a hands-on workshop which will focus on scoping your project or event, the who/what/when/why, with an overview of promotion and marketing of your event. (Includes Morning Tea/Coffee)
  • The Project Budget: 12.00pm – 01.00pm
Hands-on budgeting for your arts project – what to include, what resources might be required and how to balance your budget.
  • The Project Plan: 2.00pm – 3.30pm
Looking at risk assessments, the how, checklists and setting up your timeline

Cost for the full day program is $50.00, which includes all sessions, handouts, morning tea and lunch. You can book your ticket here. Please note: there is a special discount when more than one attendee of an organisation or group attends. Please contact us for the discount code when you book.
