Birrang > Opportunity for Regional Dancers

RANSW has partnered with Ausdance NSW and Bangarra Dance Theatre in association with NAISDA Dance College, Carriageworks and the Australian Film, Television and Radio School to develop Birrang, a program of opportunities developed for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander dance artists based in NSW. All Happening on the Western Frontier

Western Riverina Arts is a recent success story for Regional Arts NSW. After several years of lobbying the local councils and the government, Western Riverina Arts was created in 2010 and Dr Greg Pritchard was appointed as the inaugural RADO for our network's newest RAB. Read more

February RADO Meeting

Gathered from every corner of the state, our 14 RADOs (Regional Arts Development Officers) came together in Walsh Bay for our first quarterly meeting of the year over three days in February. Read more

STARTS Get New Team Member

Southern Tablelands Arts (STARTS) have appointed Giselle Newbury as the latest addition to their team. Giselle has studied creative writing, ran an antiquarian bookshop and art gallery in Taralga and Goulburn and is the mother of two children. Read more


REGIONAL RESIDENCY Regional Arts NSW has partnered with Artspace Visual Arts Centre to offer a 12-week residency at the end of 2013. Read more

RANSW New Website

It's finally here! A long time in the making but RANSW has begun the year by launching the fresh new-look website. The website will feature artist profiles and interviews; news stories; information on grants, insurance and upcoming events; jobs and career opportunities; links and resources relating to all things Regional Arts NSW. Staff Additions to RANSW for 2013

RANSW is excited to welcome aboard new members to our team for 2013. Millie McMahon has been appointed to the position of full-time Administration Officer and will commence in February. Read more

South West Arts welcomes new board members

South West Arts held its Annual General Meeting and Strategic Planning session on 19 May 2012 at the Wanganella Hall. The AGM saw the RAB welcome their new board members: Tertia Butcher from Hay, Julie Cassar from Blighty, Phil Nunn from Tocumwal and Linda Duffy from Deniliquin. Read more
